LuxSit™ Pro
The LuxSit™ Pro Luciferase Assay System generates high-intensity glow-type luminescence multiple times brighter than the commonly used Firefly & Renilla luciferase systems.
The Monod Bio LuxSit™ Pro products are offered as kits that enable scientists to build their desired applications. Each kit provides the following proprietary materials: (1) the reaction buffer, (2) substrate, and (3) substrate reconstitution buffer, and (4) an optional plasmid encoding LuxSit™ Pro.
The LuxSit™ sPro PPI kit is a versatile Two-Component Split Reporter, enabling applications including Protein-Protein interaction (PPI) research and to create novel biosensors.
LuxSit™ Pro Details
- Reduced amino acid dictionary: LuxSit™ Pro has a Cysteine- and Lysine-free sequence to avoid unwanted post-translational modifications
- Highly specific to the Monod Bio proprietary synthetic substrate (minimal cross-reactivity with luciferin, CTZ, DTZ, or FRZ)
- LuxSit Pro can be genetically fused to N or C terminus of the protein of interest. Both plasmids are available for purchase
- Brightness and linear range make it ideal for both RUO and IVD
- Small (13.5 kDa) and hyperstable (Tm above 95°C)
- Visible light emission (peak emission at 490 nm)
- Generates high-intensity glow-type luminescence multiple times brighter than the commonly used Firefly & Renilla luciferase systems

- Reversible complementation reporter for protein-protein interactions
- Composed of 2 fragments: a small fragment (~1.5 kDa) and a big fragment (~12 kDa)
